Job summary

EHDOC is seeking a full-time Maintenance Person for a Miami, FL community. Hours are 8am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday, 40 hours weekly.

Responsibilities include routine upkeep, electrical and plumbing work, painting, janitorial tasks, and preparing units for turnover to ensure timely occupancy. Qualifications include a Basic Universal License (or in first year), 3 years of building maintenance experience, and strong verbal/written communication.

Qualifications

• Basic universal license required; may be obtained during first year.
• 3 years of building maintenance experience.
• Strong initiative and problem-solving abilities.
• Good verbal and written communication in the predominant language of the property location.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks as scheduled by supervisor.
• Respond to maintenance requests within 24 hours or notify supervisor of delays.
• Perform electrical and plumbing maintenance and repairs.
• Prepare units for turnover including painting and cleaning.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; inventory control and safety compliance.
