Job summary

NHE, Inc (N&H Enterprises) is seeking a Community Maintenance Technician for Camden Pointe Apartments in Mocksville, NC. The role focuses on maintaining the community’s physical assets and delivering excellent resident service.

You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, apartment turnovers, and safety checks while working closely with the Community Manager. On-call, weekend, and holiday work may be required.

Qualifications

• EPA Certification (Type I & II or Universal) is required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Prior apartment maintenance experience is preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, pools and other systems.
• Complete apartment turns, inspections and move‑in/move‑out prep.
• Respond to work orders and resident maintenance requests promptly.
• Conduct routine property inspections and address safety concerns.
• Assist with preventive maintenance, inventory control and budgeting.
• Coordinate vendor services and warranty work as needed.
• Maintain grounds and common areas for curb appeal.
• Support emergency repairs and weather-related response.
• Participate in training and safety programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Summary

The Community Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the community's physical assets through repairs, preventive maintenance, apartment turnovers, and property upkeep. This role works closely with the Community Manager to ensure a safe, well-maintained community while delivering excellent resident service. Flexibility for on-call, weekend, and holiday work is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, pools, and other building systems.
• Complete apartment turns, inspections, and move-in/move-out preparations.
• Respond to work orders and resident maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Conduct routine property inspections and address safety concerns.
• Assist with preventive maintenance programs, inventory management, and budget control.
• Coordinate vendor services and warranty work as needed.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and overall curb appeal.
• Support emergency repairs and weather-related response efforts.
