Job summary

NHE, Inc in Mocksville, NC is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to support the Community Manager and Maintenance Supervisor in keeping the property safe, functional and attractive. You will perform repairs, make-readies, preventive tasks and respond to resident service requests, with on-call and weekend coverage as needed.

Responsibilities include coordinating vendor services, maintaining inventories, assisting with budgeting and safety programs, and participating in required training.

Qualifications

• Prior apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, pools/spas, and other property systems.

• Complete apartment make-readies, inspections, and move-in/move-out preparation.

• Assist with preventive maintenance programs and inventory control.
• Coordinate vendor services, warranty work, and quality control.
• Maintain community curb appeal and grounds.
• Support emergency response efforts, including weather-related incidents.
• Assist with maintenance scheduling, budgeting, and supply purchasing.
• Participate in required training and safety programs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Location: Camden Pointe Apartments - Mocksville, NC

Position Summary

The Apartment Maintenance Technician supports the Community Manager and Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the community's physical assets, including repairs, apartment turns, preventive maintenance, and property upkeep. This role assists with budgeting, inventory management, vendor coordination, and resident service requests. Flexibility is required for on-call, weekend, and holiday coverage, with potential advancement to Maintenance Supervisor.

• Participate in after-hours emergency and on-call rotations.
