Job summary

CrossWinds Counseling & Wellness is seeking an Attendant Care Worker to provide quality direct support to agency clients in daily living activities and independent living skills within community and residential settings.

The role requires evening and weekend hours, with supervision and training sessions to maintain quality care. Prior health and human services experience is preferred, and basic computer skills are needed to document services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in health and human services preferred.
• Computer skills with Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in achieving individualized treatment, recovery, and personal growth goals.
• Monitor clients' medication compliance as prescribed and report concerns.
• Observe significant behavioral changes and report to supervisor.
• May provide psychosocial group services to child clients up to age 18.
• May transport clients as required by assignments.
• Maintain accurate records of all client services and submit timesheets as required.
• Attend monthly supervision and training meetings.
• Assist in meal preparation, laundry, basic housekeeping, and personal hygiene assistance.
• May gather client vitals and health information for Med Clinic appointments.
