Job summary

CrossWinds Counseling & Wellness seeks a part-time Psychosocial Group Staff/Environmental Services Specialist to support the After School Program, an intensive outpatient program for at-risk youth. The role includes face-to-face client support, supervision, and helping develop social and behavioral skills to prevent out-of-home placements and hospitalizations.

The position requires high school diploma, 1 year of health and human services experience preferred, and competency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year of experience in health and human services is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct psychosocial group services to child clients up to 18 years old to teach appropriate behaviors for home, school, and community.
• Monitors client behavior and safety with close guidance and supervision.
• Assists in facilitating daily activities and trips.
• May transport individuals to and from locations as required by the assignment.
• Designs, prepares, and leads curriculum for specific developmental skills.
