Qualifications

• Valid driving license and must be insurable by the agency insurance carrier.
• Ability to lift 50 to 60 lbs. and stand/walk for 75% of shift.
• Must pass a background check and post-offer drug test.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities in the home for participants with developmental disabilities across day, evening, and weekend hours.
• Implement programs from the participant’s planning team and document services provided.
• Support health and medical needs, safety, hygiene, meals, and household tasks.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in software or logs.
• Provide respectful communication and act as a role model during meals and activities.
• Assist with advocacy, budgeting, and contact with natural supports as needed.
