Job summary

DDRC seeks a Direct Support Professional to assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a shared residential home in Colorado. You will help with daily routines, meals, personal care, and community activities, fostering independence and personal choice.

Qualifications

• Age 19+ and valid driver's license required.
• Must pass criminal background checks and CAPS (Colorado).
• Willingness to travel as needed and operate agency vehicles.
• Computer literacy and ability to document supports online.
• Adhere to public health and infection control requirements.
• Maintain ongoing trainings as defined by regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in shared residential homes with PCSPs and promote independence.
• Protect rights, autonomy, and informed choice in everyday activities.
• Encourage community participation and age-appropriate activities.
• Assist with daily living tasks, meals, budgeting, and medication management.
• Build professional relationships with individuals, coworkers, and stakeholders.
• Follow plans and use approved de-escalation and trauma-informed approaches.
• Complete accurate documentation in the electronic system.
