Job summary

Treasure House is seeking a Community Assistant to lead and manage resident life on assigned shifts, ensuring safety and active community participation for young adults with IDD. The role requires supporting daily schedules, meals, and transport, while maintaining professional boundaries and collaboration with life coaches.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, coordinating activities, and reporting issues to leadership.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 21+ years of age.
• Valid Arizona Driver's License and clean driving record with at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Must clear full background check (including but not limited to criminal history check and Motor Vehicle Report).
• Preferred: 2 years' experience supporting persons with IDD.
• Preferred: First aid, CPR, Food handler's and Article 9 Current Certifications (must have 30 days after hire).
• Preferred: Arizona DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card (must have within 30 days after hire).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage resident community life on assigned shift.
• Provide direct support to residents during daily activities and schedules.
• Ensure resident safety and well-being; maintain professional boundaries.
• Transport residents to activities using company vehicles.
• Document resident progress and issues per life coach plans.
• Report concerns to leadership and follow policies.
