Job summary

Apploi in Jefferson City, MO, seeks an Activities Coordinator for our Assisted Living community. The role centers on designing engaging events reflecting residents’ needs and encouraging participation, with daily leadership of activities.

The coordinator will maintain EMR entries, plan monthly calendars, and ensure events comply with regulatory guidelines while celebrating residents’ milestones and birthdays.

Qualifications

• Active state driver’s license preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Leads and/or oversees individual and group events daily, encouraging and tracking resident participation at each event.
• Provides information for the electronic medical record (EMR) including assessments, service plans, and progress notes.
• Designs creative and engaging events that are reflective of our residents’ needs and interests.
• Plans a monthly calendar that includes one-on-one events as well as group activities that enrich our resident’s well-being.
• Posts and distributes monthly Life Enrichment calendars for easy reference throughout the community.
• Acknowledges resident birthdays, anniversaries, and special accomplishments.
• Communicates Life Enrichment supply needs in a timely manner.
• Ensures Life Enrichment events meet all state, federal, and other regulatory guidelines.
