Job summary

The Town of Camp Verde seeks a Library Manager to lead operations, services, programs, staff and facilities of the Camp Verde Community Library, guiding access to information and lifelong learning for residents.

Ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree in Library Science, bring at least five years of library management and programming experience, and demonstrate strong leadership, staff supervision, and community engagement to expand services and partnerships.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Library Science or related field preferred.
• Minimum of five years of library management and programming experience.
• Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience will be considered.
• Proven leadership experience in library operations, staff supervision, and community-focused services is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations, services, programs, staff and facilities of the Camp Verde Community Library.
• Develop and mentor staff, oversee library collections and services.
• Ensure the library remains a welcoming and valuable resource for residents of all ages.
• Build partnerships and expand community engagement to support library goals.
