Job summary

The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) is seeking a Community Associate in the Moveouts unit to support the Lead Hazard Control Department. This role focuses on enhancing communication between City agencies, community organizations, and residents.

Responsibilities include responding to vendors, performing daily data entry in Maximo, reviewing Move-Out reports, preparing records and statistics, and providing administrative support to the unit as needed.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent and three years of experience in community work or related duties.
• Alternative education/experience equivalent to the above.

Responsibilities

• Provide and improve community services by liaising with City agencies and groups.
• Respond to vendors' questions and guide on arising problems.
• Perform daily data entry tasks in Maximo.
• Review Move-Out reports for HPD compliance.
• Prepare and maintain records, reports, and statistics.
• Provide administrative support and coordinate meetings.
