Job summary

Conifer Realty seeks a Community (Property) Manager for affordable housing in Damascus, MD. You will oversee leasing, rent collection, budgeting, and daily operations to ensure safe, welcoming homes for families.

Lead a team, maintain LIHTC/HUD compliance, and build partnerships with housing authorities while delivering high-quality resident services. This role offers impact, growth, and community engagement.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of property management experience.
• Experience with LIHTC or HUD project-based files.
• Certification in TCS or COS preferred.
• Ability to mentor and lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee leasing, rent collection, and financial oversight.
• Manage budgeting and vendor relationships with accuracy.
• Guide residents through move-ins/outs with empathy.
• Ensure compliance with affordable housing programs (LIHTC/HUD).
• Build trusted relationships with housing authorities and community partners.
