Job summary

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience cooking food for large groups or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Experience coordinating the work of kitchen staff preferred.
• Safe Food Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, cook and serve meals; ensure meals are safe and presentable.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and inventory; monitor volunteers.
• Supervise Kitchen Assistant and ensure meals are prepared as planned.
• Adhere to health regulations and accreditation standards.
