Job summary

Goodwill of the Heartland is seeking a Job Coach in Muscatine, IA to support participants with barriers to independence. You will train, supervise, and model work procedures and help clients secure community placements.

Responsibilities include adapting training strategies to individual needs, developing goals, and sometimes providing transportation to program participants. The role offers competitive benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of related field experience required (e.g., customer service, clerical, etc.). AA degree can substitute for experience.
• Supervisory/training experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to participants in community jobs.
• Train, supervise, and model work procedures for participants.
• Assist participants in developing goals and implementing tasks.
• Adapt training strategies to participants' changing needs.
• Provide transportation to program participants between sites as needed.
