Job summary

Goodwill of the Heartland’s Quad Cities Office in Davenport, IA is seeking a Job Coach in a full-time role. The position offers an $16.78/hour starting wage and serves people with barriers to independence by facilitating community job placements and teaching essential work habits.

The Job Coach will provide direct support, train and model procedures, adapt strategies to participant needs, and may transport participants to assignments, ensuring a strong, supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six months of experience in related field; AA degree may substitute for experience.
• Reliable vehicle with valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Background checks including criminal, motor vehicle record and dependent/adult abuse required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to clients and supervise/train/model work procedures.
• Assist participants in securing community jobs through Goodwill programs and teach basic work habits and attitudes.
• Adapt training strategies day-to-day to fit participant needs and may provide transportation.
