Job summary

Goodwill of the Heartland is hiring a Job Coach in Iowa to support participants with disabilities or barriers to independence in community jobs. You will train and supervise participants, model work procedures, and help them set goals and complete tasks at multiple sites.

The role requires travel between sites, some evening/weekend hours, and the ability to adapt training approaches to individual needs. Pay starts at $16.78/hour with benefits and a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of experience in a related field required (e.g., customer service, custodial, sales, clerical, training, etc.). An AA degree can be substituted for the required experience.
• Supervisory/training experience preferred.
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Successful completion of background checks: criminal, motor vehicle record, and dependent adult and child abuse.
• Schedule includes evenings and weekends with travel between job sites.
