Job summary

At Easterseals Redwood, a dedicated Job Coach helps individuals with disabilities secure and maintain community employment by teaching job tasks, building independent work skills, and guiding transportation to and from work. The role includes assessing strengths, providing accommodations, and promoting successful career outcomes.

The position is full-time, with options for growth, and requires flexibility for early mornings, evenings, or weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; some college preferred.
• Experience with individuals with disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coaches individuals served at community job sites by providing orientation and training.
• Provides transportation to and from work sites as needed.
• Assists individuals with learning bus routes and other travel modes to work.
• Keeps accurate records and documentation including case notes and reports.
• Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information and liaises with supervisors and employers.
