Elwyn in Pennsylvania seeks a Community Integration Specialist to assist, transport, and supervise students in community-based jobs and training, developing work skills and supporting post-secondary employment goals. You will collaborate with teachers and therapists, design accommodations, plan tasks, and help students become independent while following IEP goals and safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of experience working with students with disabilities, particularly with autism and developmental disabilities.
• Background in an educational setting preferred.
• Knowledge of transporting students safely and per regulations.
• Experience in workplace development, case management, or vocational coaching preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and manage multiple priorities.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with three years of driving in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement work accommodations and prepare materials for tasks.
• Plan sufficient time for task completion while developing life and employability skills.
• Encourage independence by gradually increasing support as students progress.
• Transport students to job sites and ensure on-time arrival.
• Collaborate with teachers and therapists to support IEP goals.
• Maintain safety and adhere to policies in all activities.
• Complete daily progress documentation and data collection.
• Provide CPR and crisis management using agency-approved protocols.
• Maintain current knowledge of student tasks and report changes.
