Job summary

The Arc Prince George's County in Maryland is seeking a Community Integration Specialist to support adults with disabilities. You will develop and assist with person-centered plans, transport clients, and supervise daily activities at MLK or Bridges Day Program.

This role emphasizes independence, community inclusion, safety, and dignity. A high school diploma, strong communication, reliability, and basic computer skills are required. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Computer literacy and strong oral and written communication skills.
• Dependable and reliable.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to problem-solve and assist in emergencies.
• Must have reliable transportation/driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for change by planning with individuals and reviewing Person-Centered Plans (PCPs).
• Support community integration by planning inclusive activities and teaching life skills.
• Assist with daily living activities, provide supervision, and respond to medical needs as required.
• Complete accurate documentation and attend required meetings/trainings.
• Provide daily staffing at multiple locations and liaise with the community.
• Ensure safety, dignity, and adherence to policies and regulations in all tasks.
