Job summary

Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities is seeking a Client Support Worker for the Community Integration Home in Douglasville, GA, 1st shift. Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED with 1 year direct care experience in human services.
• Ability to communicate with mental health professionals in a team environment.
• Ability to observe, assess and record symptoms and progress.
• Ability to follow safety procedures, and maintain documentation.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities at the Community Integration Home.
• Observe and monitor residents' behavior and document incidents.
• Provide basic personal/social skills and simple academics or work skills training.
• Maintain high-quality care and serve as a role model.
• Assist with meal prep, transportation, and limited case management.
