Job summary

The Atlantic District in Easton, MD is seeking a General Insurance Agent to join our downtown office. You will build relationships with residents and business owners, crafting policies that protect people and places in our community. This role emphasizes thoughtful solutions, professional growth, and exceptional care.

Responsibilities include needs assessments, maintaining client communications, and helping with renewals and claims support, with a collaborative team and hands-on training.

Qualifications

• Maryland Property & Casualty insurance license.
• Three or more years of experience in personal lines insurance sales.
• Ability to manage a pipeline of prospective clients.
• Strong communication skills for phone and in-person consultations.
• Knowledge of Easton area insurance market trends.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a strong client base by providing thoughtful, comprehensive insurance solutions.
• Conduct thorough needs assessments to ensure our neighbors in Easton have the exact coverage they require.
• Maintain active communication with policyholders regarding renewals, policy adjustments, and claims support.
• Collaborate with local business owners to identify and solve potential gaps in their current coverage.
• Participate in community outreach events to represent The Atlantic District and build lasting connections.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date documentation for all client interactions and policy changes.
