Job summary

The Salvation Army Jamestown Service Extension Unit in Jamestown, ND seeks a Community Social Services Coordinator to provide direct client services, coordinate cases, navigate resources, and administer programs with compassion and accountability.

You will work with community partners, volunteers, and local leadership to deliver emergency assistance, food security, and utility support while maintaining confidential records and meeting licensing and background checks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, human services, psychology, sociology, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination considered.
• Two years of experience in social services or related field required.
• Pass background checks and possess valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client services, case coordination, and crisis intervention.
• Coordinate seasonal and emergency social services programs and maintain participant records.
• Develop community partnerships and assist with outreach and volunteer engagement.
• Support program administration, data entry, and documentation.
