Job summary

Abode Communities is seeking a full-time Resident Services Coordinator to coordinate light case management and service delivery at affordable housing developments in Los Angeles County. You will work with on-site Beyond Homes services, partners, and residents to promote stability, aging in place, and healthy living.

Responsibilities include coordinating youth and senior programs, maintaining attendance and referrals, and building relationships with community organizations.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent; minimum two years in social work, human services, case management, or related field.
• Strong ability to initiate and maintain effective cooperative relationships with community-based organizations.
• Strong ability to organize and oversee meetings, activities and events; ability to network in the community.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; mathematical concept skills.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Availability to work some evenings and Saturdays.
• Intermediate computer skills (Excel, Word, Email, Internet).
• Ability to travel within Abode Communities’ service area.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee community development activities under Beyond Homes initiatives.
• Track programs and referrals through attendance, notes and ResidentConnect database.
• Collaborate with on-site services and local partners to connect residents with resources.
