Job summary

GECU is seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive strategic initiatives within the PMO. You will partner with sponsors, manage scope and deliverables, and lead cross-functional teams to successful outcomes.

Responsibilities include developing project plans, guiding resources, maintaining documentation, and updating leadership on progress. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years PM experience are required; PMP is preferred. Hybrid onsite/local remote work available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Computer Science or related field.
• Five years of similar or related project management experience.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Requires sitting the majority of the day, occasional lifting up to 10 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Develops the project plan in accordance with the scope and deliverables.
• Leads assigned resources to implement each project per the plan and PMO methodology.
• Maintains documentation: scope, deliverables, plan, issues log, meeting notes, status reports.
• Provides timely updates to leadership on significant developments.
• Coordinates with management, users, vendors, and IT for tool utilization and training.
