Job summary

GreenLight Fund Nashville is seeking a thoughtful Site Associate to support research, portfolio management, and community engagement. You will conduct analysis, assist due diligence, and help track portfolio performance while collaborating across the GreenLight network.

The role reports to the Executive Director of GreenLight Fund Nashville and requires 3–5 years of related experience, with strong communications and local engagement. Travel ~5–10% is expected.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Demonstrable engagement in the local community.

Responsibilities

• Research existing local social issues and priorities affecting underserved children, youth, and families.
• Conduct local landscape analysis including qualitative and quantitative research and stakeholder meetings.
• Perform due diligence on prospective portfolio organizations, including impact and financial assessments.
• Record, synthesize and produce reports and briefs based on analysis and key findings to inform Executive Director and stakeholders.
• In partnership with the Executive Director, support community engagement by holding conversations with local stakeholders to ensure alignment with the site's strategic priorities and community context.
• Track performance, progress toward outcomes, and emerging opportunities or risks within the portfolio.
• Collect and analyze program data for reporting and coordinate with portfolio organizations to meet milestones.
• Prepare materials for selection advisory meetings, agendas, briefs, and research findings.
• Identify best practices across the GreenLight network and implement locally.
• Maintain internal management, data, and reporting systems; coordinate site workflow and deadlines.
• Support investor relations: write grant proposals, reports, and end of year asks.
• Maintain social media, website content, newsletters, and blog postings; assist with events.
