Metrocrest Services is seeking a Marketing & Events Specialist to advance fundraising efforts, donor engagement, and agency initiatives. The role reports to the Marketing & Communications Director and requires in-person work Monday–Friday with some evening/weekend events.

You will support marketing, communications, and events across campaigns, manage vendor relationships, and produce donor stories and engaging content.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, Nonprofit Management, or related field.
• Minimum two years nonprofit marketing experience with social media growth.
• Experience planning and managing events up to 1,000 attendees.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office & Canva.
• In-person work Mon–Fri; some evenings/weekends may be required.

Aufgaben

• Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and venues.
• Plan event details and aspects, including run of show, speakers, scripts, and guest lists.
• Manage events and address potential problems that may arise.
• Plan for potential scenarios that could impact the integrity of the event.
• Maintain a working knowledge of the complex needs of a wide variety of events.
• Manage volunteers assisting with planning and implementation of events.
• Provide marketing support for all agency events.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate a social media content calendar, creating engaging posts.
