Job summary

Beatrice, Nebraska-based Mosaic seeks a Community Relations Manager to lead our donor development and community engagement efforts. You’ll tell stories, build partnerships, and represent the organization at local events.

You’ll manage volunteer and church relationships, craft outreach plans, and work closely with fundraising and grant teams to support our mission of empowering people and advocating for rights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in PR, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2 years in a similar PR, fundraising or community relations role.
• Grant writing and volunteer management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Outreach & Awareness: Develop community awareness plans, build partnerships, and showcase Mosaic's work.
• Volunteer & Church Relations: Recruit and direct volunteer teams while fostering connections across the local faith community.
• Donor & Grant Development: Cultivate donor relationships, assist with local fundraising, and collaborate on grant proposals.
• Master Relationship Builder: Exceptional communication, public speaking, and presentation skills.
• Organizational Dynamo: Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Adaptable & Mobile: Ability to travel locally and work flexible hours to represent Mosaic at community events.
• Public Relations Savvy: Knowledge of modern communication principles, social media relations, and promotional strategies.
