Job summary

Mosaic seeks a Community Relations Manager to lead local engagement in Beatrice, Nebraska and to be the face of Mosaic in the community. You will build partnerships, tell inspiring stories, engage faith groups, and strengthen donor relations to advance Mosaic’s mission.

You will travel locally, recruit volunteers, coordinate events, and develop outreach plans with creativity and integrity while upholding Mosaic values of belonging and service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in PR, Marketing, Communications or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2 years in a similar PR, fundraising or community relations role (grant writing and volunteer management experience preferred).
• Strong relationship-building, public speaking, social media management, event coordination, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Outreach & Awareness: develop community awareness plans, build partnerships and showcase Mosaic's work.
• Volunteer & Church Relations: recruit and direct volunteer teams while fostering connections across the local faith community.
• Donor & Grant Development: cultivate donor relationships, assist with local fundraising, and collaborate on grant proposals.
• Master Relationship Builder: exceptional communication, public speaking, and presentation skills.
• Organizational Dynamo: manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Adaptable & Mobile: travel locally and work flexible hours for community events.
