Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is hiring a Housekeeper at our Chester, VA community. You will clean common living areas and resident apartments, operate laundry equipment, and assist with maintenance reporting. You must follow safety and privacy policies and support a cooperative team.

A flexible schedule including weekends is required. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and prior housekeeping experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Housekeeping experience is highly desired.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to complete assignments thoroughly and on time.
• Ability to work well with others as part of a team.
• Able to lift 25 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cleaning of common areas and resident apartments.
• Operate laundry equipment when needed.
• Report deterioration or damage to housekeeping supervisor.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality of residents.
• Attend required in-services and staff meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
