Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Housekeeping experience is preferred.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to complete assignments thoroughly and on time.
• Ability to work well with others as part of a team.
• Polite and courteous to all residents, visitors and staff.
• Able to stand, walk, kneel, bend, push/pull for extended periods.
• Able to lift 25 lbs and carry objects up to 20 feet.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean common living areas and resident apartments.
• Oversee cleaning of the entire facility with emphasis on common areas and apartment bathrooms.
• Complete maintenance request reports as needed.
• Report deterioration or damage to housekeeping supervisor.
• Operate laundry equipment as needed.
• Use approved cleaning products and store supplies properly.
• Dust and clean blinds, furniture and shelves in resident areas.
• Vacuum common areas and apartments.
• Maintain resident privacy/confidentiality at all times.
• Attend required in-services and staff meetings.
• Follow policies regarding release of resident information.
• Other duties as assigned.
