Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness of the community in Savannah, GA. Responsibilities include cleaning common areas and resident apartments, operating laundry equipment, and reporting maintenance needs while upholding privacy policies.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, teamwork, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Weekend and holiday shifts may be required, with options for full-time or part-time employment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in housekeeping preferred.
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cleaning of the entire facility, with emphasis on common areas and apartment bathrooms.
• Complete maintenance request reports when needed.
• Report deterioration or damage to housekeeping supervisor.
• Operate the laundry equipment when needed.
• Use only approved cleaning products and store supplies properly.
• Clean office areas when assigned.
• Dust and clean window blinds and all furniture in resident areas.
• Vacuum common areas and resident apartments.
• Keep common areas and resident bathrooms clean.
• Attend required in-services and staff meetings.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality; follow policies on release of information.
• Other duties as assigned.
