Job summary

University of Wisconsin–Madison is seeking a Community Health Worker Workforce Development Specialist to provide subject matter expertise and leadership across Envision's CHW program development, including webinars and learning collaboratives. The role supports STLT public health departments and CHW sustainability with community-centered approaches.

The position is full or part-time (50%-100%), with some onsite work and potential remote work at offsite locations.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, facilitating, or supporting training, technical assistance, learning collaboratives, communities of practice, coaching, or workforce development activities.
• Knowledge of CHW roles, values, and workforce development.
• Experience working with CHWs, CHW-led organizations, public health agencies, healthcare organizations, or community-based organizations.

Responsibilities

• Delivers outreach program content and materials to community members.
• Leads the implementation of programs, policies, and procedures through oversight of day-to-day activities for program staff and volunteers.
• Schedules and secures resources and communicates logistics for outreach programs.
