Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of healthcare experience.
- Certified Nurse aide/Medication aide/Medical assistant.
- Triage experience of at least 1 year preferred.
- Experience in rural health clinic preferred.
Responsibilities
- Triage and care coordination with providers.
- Schedule and direct patient telephone calls, including walk-ins.
- Evaluate patients’ health needs using triage protocols.
- Document symptoms, advice, and patient responses in EHR.
- Coordinate and schedule future and same-day appointments.
- Assist with prescription refills per protocol.
- Forward pertinent medical information to proper departments.
