Job summary

Quinnipiac University’s Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine seeks a Community Health Program Specialist to manage the Bobcat Community Health Alliance.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, coordinate student volunteer activities, and work with faculty, partners, and community organizations to deliver outreach and education. The role requires strong communication, program administration, and experience bridging clinical and academic environments to expand service and learning opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred in a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant professional experience in healthcare administration or higher education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Direct and administer the operational activities of the BCHA program with primary point-of-contact duties.
• Ensure compliance with university policies and external partner requirements.
• Manage student engagement, onboarding, and readiness for community-based clinical programs.
• Collaborate with faculty preceptors to ensure supervision and trainings are completed.
• Coordinate volunteer rotations and site-specific requirements with partner sites.
• Collect, analyze, and report participation and outcome data for accreditation and donor stewardship.
• Oversee supply management and inventory for outreach services.
• Manage financial transactions, including requisitions, expenses, and invoices.
• Monitor program expenses and assist with budget adherence.
• Coordinate mobile unit logistics, vehicle maintenance, and equipment readiness.
• Maintain vehicle licensing, registration, and insurance coverage for the mobile unit.
• Follow SOPs and recommend process improvements.
• Engage in other duties as assigned.
