Job summary

Quinnipiac University’s Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine invites applications for a Community Health Program Specialist who will manage the Bobcat Community Health Alliance (BCHA), a student-led, faculty-mentored outreach program focused on underserved communities.

The role oversees day-to-day operations, coordinates with faculty, students, clinical partners, and community organizations, ensures policy compliance, and supports volunteer clinical engagement opportunities with strong data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred (MPH, MSW, MBA, MPA, MHA).

Responsibilities

• Direct and administer day-to-day operations of the BCHA program.
• Ensure compliance with university policies and site procedures.
• Manage BCHA student engagement processes, including volunteer placement, onboarding compliance, and readiness requirements.
• Liaise with faculty preceptors to ensure appropriate clinical supervision during outreaches and trainings.
• Collaborate with community and clinical partner sites to schedule and manage student rotations.
• Collect, analyze, and report program participation and outcome data.
• Oversee supply management and track inventories of point-of-care tests and outreach supplies.
• Directly manage financial transactions, including requisitions, expenses, invoices, and fund transfers.
• Monitor program expenses and assist leadership with budget adherence.
• Coordinate mobile unit logistics, vehicle maintenance, fuel tracking, and equipment readiness.
• Maintain record of vehicle licensing, registration, and insurance coverage.
• Use SOPs for program management and suggest process improvements.
• Engage in other duties as assigned.
