CAN Community Health Miami, FL is seeking a Program Specialist I/Community Health Worker to support HIV prevention, education, and linkage to care. The role focuses on HIV/STI testing, risk reduction counseling, and community outreach in clinic and community settings.

This entry-level position requires a high school diploma, about one year in a related field, and willingness to work outside standard hours. Competitive pay, PTO, holidays, training, benefits, and tuition assistance are offered.

Qualificações

• High school diploma required.
• Approximately 1 year of related field experience preferred; coursework may substitute.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a vehicle.
• Must pass Level I and Level II background checks.

Responsabilidades

• Provides HIV/STI/Hepatitis C testing and risk-reduction counseling in community and clinic settings.
• Educates clients about PrEP and links them to PrEP programs.
• Documents testing and outcomes in EMR and reporting systems.
• Develops partnerships and agreements with community organizations.
• Represents CAN in community outreach at shelters, parks, and events.
• Distributes condoms and educational materials to clients and partners.
• Collaborates with teams to coordinate client services.
