Job summary

Cardinal Health Innovative Delivery Solutions in Oakland, MD seeks a highly motivated pharmacist to work in a company-owned retail contract pharmacy. The role involves dispensing medications, patient consultations, and potential management of high-risk patients within a community-focused setting.

You will participate in medication therapy management, ensure 340B contract pharmacy compliance, and collaborate with partners to deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist must be registered in the state where the position is located.
• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy required; PharmD preferred.
• Flexible schedule is required; strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• 340B experience not required; training available.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications and ensure safe, efficient delivery to customers.
• Maintain open communication with customers and practitioner sites for consultation.
• Supervise technical staff.
• Ensure pharmacy compliance with 340B contract pharmacy best practices.
• Provide professional consultation to patients and prescribers at partner facilities.
• Organize and direct technicians’ workflow; verify preparation, labeling, order entries and inspections.
