Job summary

Cardinal Health Innovative Delivery Solutions seeks a highly motivated pharmacist for a community health center retail setting. You will deliver medications, provide pharmaceutical care, and counsel patients in communities most in need, while assisting in 340B contract pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities include consultation with patients and prescribers, supervising technicians, and ensuring accurate dispensing and labeling within compliance frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy required, PharmD preferred.
• CA Pharmacist license in good standing.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Interpersonal relations and customer service skills.
• 340B experience preferred.
• May require vendor credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Dispensing medications under direct supervision and ensuring safe, efficient delivery to customers.
• Maintain open communication with customers and practitioners for consultation.
• Participate in supervision of technical staff.
• Ensure pharmacy compliance with best practices for 340B contract pharmacies.
• Provide professional consultation to patients and prescribers of partner health facility.
• Direct technicians and verify preparation, labeling, and order entries.
