Cardinal Health Innovative Delivery Solutions is seeking a Community Health Center Pharmacist for Mountain Laurel Community Pharmacy in Oakland, MD. This PRN role covers PTO and additional shifts as needed, with hours Monday–Thursday 8:00–6:00, Friday 8:00–5:00, and an anticipated hourly range of $50.10–$71.70.

Requires a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy with MD licensure and strong patient-focused care. The position emphasizes safe medication delivery, consultant support for patients and prescribers,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred.
• Pharmacist registration in the state where the position is located.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• 340B experience not required; training available.
• Vendor credentialing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications and ensure safe, efficient delivery to customers.
• Maintain open communication with customers and practitioner sites for consultations.
• Supervise technicians and oversee workflow and labeling of pharmaceuticals.
• Ensure pharmacy compliance with 340B contract pharmacy practices and guidelines.
• Provide professional consultation to patients and prescribers of partner health facilities.
• Complete operational requirements by organizing technicians’ work, verifying orders and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Under the direct supervision of manager, this position is responsible for dispensing and ensuring safe and efficient delivery of medications to all customers.
• Maintains open communication and is available to customers and practitioner sites for consultation
• Participates in supervision of technical staff
• Ensure pharmacy is compliant with best practices for 340B contract pharmacies
• Provide professional consultation to both patients and prescribers of partner health facility
• Completes pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians' work flow; verifying their preparation and labeling of pharmaceuticals; verifying order entries, charges, and inspections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy requires, PharmD preferred
• Pharmacist registration in the state where the position is located
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Interpersonal relations and customer service skills
• 340B experience not required can train
• May require vendor credentialing
