Job summary

The Worcester County Health Department is seeking a full-time nurse supervisor to plan, develop, and evaluate maternal and child health programs, including reproductive health, immunizations, and lead case management. The role supervises nursing staff and program supervisors, represents nursing on agency committees, and participates in 24/7 on-call emergency response.

The position is not telework eligible and requires travel to all county health department sites.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing or related field from an accredited college/university (or Bachelor's in nursing with 2 years community health nursing experience)
• Two years experience as a Community Health Nurse in administrative, supervisory, consultative or teaching capacity
• Current Maryland Registered Nurse license
• Leadership experience in community-based and/or maternal child health settings

• Willingness to work rotating on-call schedule and some evening/weekend hours
