Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a dynamic Healthcare Business Development professional to manage relationships with physicians, hospitals and other referral sources. You will educate partners on Enhabit services, coordinate post-acute care transitions, and drive referral growth while upholding regulatory compliance.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a clinical license if applicable are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in healthcare administration, marketing, or related field or graduate of an approved school of nursing, therapy or social work.
• Highly preferred graduate of an approved school of nursing, therapy or social work.
• Minimum of two years of experience in healthcare business development, community relations, marketing, or sales.
• Familiarity with federal, state, and local laws and regulatory guidelines governing Medicare certified home health and hospice operations.
• Valid state driver license and automobile liability insurance as required by law.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• If Clinical: must have and maintain clinical license per state requirements.
• Experience in home health, hospice, post-acute care, or related healthcare services preferred.
• Established relationships with physicians, hospitals, or senior living communities and other referral sources preferred.
• Dependable transportation and ability to drive in all weather conditions.
• Oral and written communication, English fluency, and active listening.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and related tech.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary relationship manager between Enhabit and referral sources (physicians, hospitals, health systems, senior living communities, and other healthcare organizations).
• Educate referral sources about Enhabit services and program requirements to drive awareness and referrals.
• Support referral growth by facilitating post-acute care transitions and improving patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Help ensure compliance with applicable regulatory guidelines and company standards.
