Job summary

CMGT is seeking a dependable Handyman/Painter for a condominium property in Baton Rouge, LA. The role covers interior and exterior painting, surface prep, touch-ups, and light maintenance across common areas and association spaces.

You’ll perform non-licensed repairs, assist with general upkeep, follow safety standards, and communicate with residents and the Supervisor. A high school diploma or GED and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record. Current driver's license and vehicle insurance is required.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, and completing minor repairs.
• Paint interior and exterior common areas, including trim, doors, railings, and fencing.
• Match existing colors and finishes for a uniform appearance.
• Follow all OSHA, HOA, and CMGT safety standards and use proper PPE.
• Coordinate work to minimize disruption and keep walkways, entrances, and common areas accessible.
