Job summary

Woodlake Apartments in Escondido, CA is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the community, outdoors, and assist with landscaping and general maintenance.

No prior apartment experience is required; dependability, eagerness to learn, and comfort with outdoor, physically active work are valued. The role offers opportunities to join the property maintenance team and contribute to resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of the community
• Keep sidewalks, parking areas, breezeways, and outdoor spaces clean
• Assist with basic landscaping and grounds maintenance
• Help maintain pool, recreational, and common areas
• Assist the maintenance team with projects and apartment turns as needed
• Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns
• Help keep the community clean, attractive, and well-maintained

Compensation: $19-$21 per hour, based on experience, plus monthly performance bonuses

Groundskeepers play an important role in keeping our apartment communities clean, attractive, and welcoming. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being outdoors, and likes seeing the results of a job well done.

New to property management? That's okay.

You don't need previous apartment experience to be considered. If you're dependable, willing to learn, and have experience in landscaping, maintenance, construction, janitorial work, or another hands-on role, your skills may transfer well to a career in apartment property maintenance.

What You'll Do
