Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the appearance and safety of our residential communities in Missouri. The role supports resident satisfaction by keeping grounds clean, responding to emergencies, and assisting with unit readiness.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work independently with strong customer relations. Night/weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid, state-issued driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to use smartphones/paging devices or work-order apps.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong customer relations skills and professional communication.
• Must be available for night and weekend emergency call duty.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall appearance and cleanliness of community grounds, breezeways and common areas.
• Keep exterior stair towers clean and safe, remove debris and manage snow/ice as needed.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy and inspect building exteriors and lighting.
• Report repairs or issues promptly to the maintenance supervisor.
• Adhere to safety and environmental policies; deliver high resident satisfaction through professional service.
