Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the appearance and cleanliness of our residential communities. You will deliver world-class service to residents and support the property management team in daily upkeep and safety.

Responsibilities include grounds maintenance, snow removal, and preparing vacant units for occupancy, with on-call nights and weekends. A high school diploma and valid driver's license are required, along with strong customer relations skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid state driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to use smart mobile devices.
• Ability to work independently.
• Solid customer relations skills.
• Must be available for night/weekend emergency call duty.

Responsibilities

• Clean, rake, and collect debris from community grounds, breezeways, and common areas.
• Keep stair towers clean and waste-free.
• Ensure exterior stairs have safe treads.
• Remove snow and apply salt in inclement weather.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy and complete needed clean-out tasks.
• Perform daily exterior and lighting inspections; report repairs promptly.
