Job summary

Landmark Properties in Baton Rouge is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the landscape and the interior/exterior image of the community. You will work in a customer service driven, team environment, supporting residents and staff.

Responsibilities include keeping a clean, OSHA-compliant work space, trash control, notices delivery, attendance reporting, and daily property inspections. The role emphasizes safety, community engagement, and adherence to company policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, professional, and OSHA approved work environment.
• Keep the property litter free.
• Assist with unit trash outs.
• Deliver notices.
• Report time and attendance.
• Make daily inspections of the community.
• Understand and adhere to Landmark Properties policies and procedures.
• Understand the needs and expectations of residents and exceed their expectations.
• Develop a sense of community among the residents and staff.
• Maintain a positive community environment for both residents and associates and encourage participation in events and activities.
• Assist with the property’s turn.
• Understand, communicate, and enforce community safety, emergency, and fire evacuations policies and procedures, providing emergency response and referral services and resources.
• Document and report behaviors of residents that violate the law or the community lease agreement to the Community Manager.
• Inspect the physical condition of the property and report any problems to the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.
