Job summary

Zekelman Industries' Z-Modular in San Marcos, TX is seeking a Community Porter to maintain cleanliness and curb appeal across the apartment community. You will care for common areas, assist with basic landscaping, and support the maintenance team.

This role suits someone who works well independently, takes pride in a well-kept environment, and is able to lift up to 50 pounds and operate basic tools as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic cleaning techniques and landscaping practices helpful.
• General handyman abilities with tools and minor repairs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of common areas including leasing office, clubhouse, gym, laundry, mail areas and pool.
• Perform trash pickup and exterior cleaning; sweep and pressure wash breezeways, sidewalks and parking areas.
• Assist with basic landscaping and move-in prep for vacant apartments.
• Support maintenance with minor tasks and safety reporting.
