Job summary

The Star Companies in Placentia, CA is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Associate to upkeep and monitor our manufactured home community, its amenities, and common areas during regular business hours. You will work closely with a landscape vendor and report to the Community Property Manager.

Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma or GED, at least six months of related experience, and a valid California driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six months of related experience.
• Read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Valid California Driver's License with reliable transportation and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds, amenities, and common areas in cooperation with landscape vendor.
• Remove trash from offices, facilities, dog park, and perimeter daily.
• Keep dumpsters managed and areas free of overflow.
• Remove trash from vacant units and maintain cleanliness of common areas.
• Perform tasks promptly and report maintenance concerns to Community Property Manager.
• Ensure safety and professionalism in all interactions with residents.
