Job summary

Greystar seeks a Maintenance Supervisor for our Placentia, CA community. You will oversee on-site maintenance operations, manage work orders, coordinate vendors, and ensure safety and quality standards across grounds, interiors, and exteriors.

Requirements include 3-5 years of maintenance supervision, experience with property management software (Yardi or Happy Property) and Excel, and a valid driver's license. The role offers housing discount and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

3–5 years of maintenance supervision experience required.
Experience with Yardi, or Happy Property or Excel.
Must provide own hand tools and be proficient with basic hand/power tools.
Strong reading/writing and communication skills for resident interactions.
EPA Type I/II or Universal certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Assists and completes work orders from resident requests and performs routine maintenance per policies and safety standards.
Oversees make-ready process for vacant units, schedules vendors, completes inspections and punch lists.
Sets standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, exteriors, interiors, and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
Inspects work by service team members and contractors; develops corrective action plans as needed.
Maintains inventory of parts and supplies; coordinates with Community Manager on budgets and purchasing.
Performs monthly preventative maintenance per Manual; supports cost-control initiatives.
Participates in safety meetings and ensures MSDS and OSHA compliance.
Demonstrates strong customer service, addressing resident questions and resolving issues efficiently.
