Job summary

Mercy Retirement & Care Center is seeking a dedicated Community Coordinator and Driver to support the East Bay Mercy Brown Bag Program in Oakland. You will fulfill grocery orders, deliver to multiple sites, and coordinate with partner staff to ensure smooth distributions while upholding safety and service standards.

The role requires a California driver’s license, First Aid certification, and the ability to operate commercial trucks.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills grocery orders for East Bay Mercy Brown Bag Program in Oakland, serving senior recipients through partner organizations.
• Delivers items to 2–5 sites per day, coordinating with partner site staff and volunteers.
• Loads, unloads, and operates 20-foot box trucks and mobile farmers market vehicles.
• Provides excellent customer service and represents Mercy Brown Bag Program professionally.
• Ensures safety, inventory accuracy, and compliance with relevant guidelines.
